AOC 8-inch Breeze Android Tablet
AOC International, the world’s leading manufacturer of HDTVs and LED/LCD monitors, recently revealed the Breeze, which is an ultra-portable tablet with an 8-inch touch screen (resolution of 800 x 600 pixels). The 8-inch AOC Breeze Tablet is powered by a Rockchip processor and is loaded with Google’s Android v2.1 (Eclair) operating system.
The Breeze Tablet is equipped with USB OTG, full USB 2.0 port, 4GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, DC in jack, 3.5mm stereo headphone jack, microSD card reader, 6 hours of video time and 12 hours of audio playing time. It is also packed with built-in applications such as, e-mail, calendar, photo browser, Web browser, e-book shelve, and audio and video players. The tablet is ideal for playing and working, it allows streaming of media from the Internet via Wi-Fi network connectivity or from a attached USB device.
AOC Marketing Manager, Robert Velez said, “In developing the Breeze Tablet, we were able to capitalize on our expertise in video displays and our strength in the computer industry to create a device that matches our 60-year reputation of providing quality and user-friendly products at a great value.”
The detailed information about the Tablet has not been revealed yet, but it will available for $200 in the second quarter of this year. So, it is very hard to predict anything about the tablet.
